MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

How to submit artwork: We accept digital files only.  Hi resolution PDFs with embedded fonts preferrred, JPGs and TIFF files with embedded fonts also accepted.

E-mail submissions (up to 9mb) should be sent to the appropriate account representative: heatherk@thearmnetwork.com  or PCNmagazine@aol.com with insertion information in the e-mail message.

Files larger than 9mb will be accepted on CD or DVD.  Or contact account representative for FTP site information.

All ads must be accompanied by a proof made from the submitted file to verify content.  Color ads should be accompanied by a high-quality, full-resolution color proff calibrated to SWOP specifications.  We reserve theright to charge for processing time in the event the files does not meet ad specification guidelines.

COMMISSION AND CASH DISCOUNT

15% commission to bona fide agencies
 2% cash discount, 10 days of billing
 1.5% finance charge for payments over 30 days  delinquent

Orders and/or contact received for advertising staring more than 3 months from the date of acceptance will be charged at the rates prevailing at the time of first insertion.

ISSUE CLOSING DATES

Closing Date is 5 weeks preceding the month of the issue.  Cancellations or changes in orders are not accepted after an issue closing date.  A previously run ad will be inserted for contracted advertisers whose new copy is not received by the closing date.

CIRCULATION INFORMATION

Entered as Periodicals Postage at Glendora, CA and additional mailing offices.  Pacific Coast Nurseryman Magazine was established in 1941.  The publication focuses on 11 western states [California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Hawaii], plus the province of British Columbia.  Editorial focus is on general information of importance to growers, retailers, landscapers and suppliers in the western region, including: what's happening at conventions, seminars, and trade shows; national happenings that affect the west; industry happenings about the business, people, and association in the region and nation; pertinent information of immediate interest regarding the economy, insects and diseases, research, marketing, weather, water, regulations and other.

JULY -- More details of August and September industry events, including Southern Nursery Show in Atlanta and Nursery Landscape Expo in Texas

AUGUST -- Farwest Trade Show Issue
Plus more details of September and October industry events, including CanWest Show in British Coluimbia and Oregon Association of Nurseries convention

SEPTEMBER -- Garden Market Expo Issue
